By fitting the reworked constant drive gear and its drive spool, you will no longer have to remove the gearbox to eliminate worn spline slack that commonly occurs with Landcruiser main shafts. The spool is used in conjunction with the reworked constant drive gear by leaving out the 28mm wide spacer and the 28mm wide Power Take Off gear. The spool will now drive on the previously unused 56mm length of spline. If the Power Take Off gear is required, the same spool can be provided with an external spline to take a reworked Power Take Off Gear. We have only 5 speed, 19 spline, 32 &/or 34 tooth constant drive gears and spools in stock. If you have the same requirements for the earlier 4 speed, please contact us.
